Dear TFDP Community,
Serving as our department's Artistic Director over the past four years has been one of the greatest, most rewarding joys of my life as I've had the rare pleasure of working with our brilliant students, staff, faculty and visiting artists, and engaging with our beloved audiences.
It is with equally great delight that I ask you to join me in welcoming our new AD, Dr. Donatella Galella, as we introduce the exciting 2024-2025 season. Our mainstage productions this year include one magical musical and two powerfully poignant classics. While the shows are all the work of male writers, they are thematically connected in the way they each feature strong female characters navigating worlds ruled by men. Our season will also shine the light on the original work of our very own UCR storytellers who will continue to dazzle on both stage and screen in the TFDP Film Festival, Playworks, and New Works Festival.
Presenting the Department of Theatre, Film, and Digital Production’s 2024-25 Season:
